nicklas: clapifyoulikeme: Is this wrong. IS THIS WRONG. YES, it is wrong. First of all, the aesthetics. Second, my god, don’t you people bake? Or even cook? The butter comes with tablespoons measured out on it. This is ruined if it is maimed by someone like Ms. Edison. Third, the aesthetics. I don’t even know what to think about the internet these days. jesus saves, buddha restores
redcloud: (via xntrek) Shiva formats and reinstalls. Jesus saves, but Moses invests. *This one doesn’t really make sense, as Moses is not the Jews’ equivalent of Jesus. But we don’t really anthropomorphize God/Adonai/Hashem/Yud-hay-vav-hay like that.

Some of the Aforementioned Deets
phyllis-stein: 17 July—Columbus, MO to protest the Congregation Beth Shalom. St. Louis, MO to protest the Staenburg Family JCC.  Ugh, I like it better when we’re being told we’re the Chosen Ones and would we kindly all move to Israel so the second coming can happen. Wait. No. I like this better, because at least it’s honest.

girlvanized: autumndae: kitchenknivesandcherrybombs: seekingskinny: So, I click this link to look at bodies of exactly what I do not want to become…and seeing these ‘big’ women do nothing except lie around, take baths and take pornographic images really makes me think. Fuck.
My computer is too young to be dying. And yet she has twice now shut down while I’ve only told her to go to sleep, and then been very, very pissy about waking back up. Battery holds a charge for ~2 hours with light-normal usage, less if YouTube is involved. These are bad, bad things. Spybot is scanning away, but I am not super hopeful. Any thoughts?

– The Ghosts of Alabama Governors Past; My attempts at numbing the pain of having to be in Dothan, AL by burying myself in book stacks has come up with largely negative results. girlvanized: nola-darling: brave-slut: sluthaditcoming: naomiwaxman: “Let me be very clear: I never asked any woman why she was having an abortion. It’s intimidating enough for these women to seek out a clinic without being interrogated by a man who looks like a linebacker. Fun fact:
There is no way to Tumbl about how pretty and soft and beautiful your girlfriend looks as she sleeps and how much you love her and want to make her happy forever without sounding like a creepy person who watches her girlfriend sleep.

Is it weird that I read mommy blogs?
Not Dooce. Real mommy blogs. I think that might be weird. But it wouldn’t be weird if I had kids, right? And I’m going to have kids. And I babysit a lot. And it’s not my fault I don’t have kids yet; if my parents had had me a few years earlier I would already be all grown up and having kids and maybe even writing my own mommy blog. Or if I’d stayed in Oklahoma I would...

Tumblr, Your Pagination Is Broken
jonathaneunice: For some time I’ve I have suspected that Tumblr’s pagination is wonky. I’m browsing someone.tumblr.com/page/2. I click the next link to go to /page/3. And something I saw at the bottom of page 2 appears at the top of page 3. Hmmm. On a dynamic web site, it’s hard to know if this is really the correct behavior. After all, if the user added more content, it flows to the top of...
